Cosairus develops custom software applications for clients in industries such as healthcare, finance and manufacturing. We currently have an opening for a Business Analyst (BA) to work on requirements gathering, estimation, and documentation of acceptance criteria. Candidates must be creative, highly motivated, responsible, and have a passion for solving complex, technical problems.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will work with project managers, software development managers, software developers, QA, and external clients. The BA will act as the stakeholder advocate to ensure that project acceptance criteria and requirements are clearly defined.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for
- Software systems business requirement analysis
- Create system design proposals
- Creating functional specification documents
- Creating software acceptance criteria
- Assist project manager with development of completion estimates
- Interfacing with Project Managers, and Software development teams
- Interfacing with QA
- Interfacing with client teams
- Lead design sessions in prototyping new system
- Ability quickly learn and understand business processes in multiple industries
- Coordinate with other business analysts
Experience/Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business
- 2 or more years’ experience as a software business analyst
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle
- Strong agile process familiarity
- Must be able to pass background check
Desirable, but not required additional skills

- Microsoft SQL Server
- Visual Studio

The ideal candidate for this position will work in a Business Analyst capacity.
